More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows Christmas Holiday Winter 8″ Cam Plush with Blue Scarf and Hat
This 8-inch Cam plush stands out for its charming holiday-themed design, making it a perfect gift or decorative piece during the season. Compared with the smaller Micromallows, its size makes it more suitable for display and cuddling, though its limited seasonal use means it might not be a year-round favorite. The super-soft plush material ensures a cuddly feel, ideal for fans who enjoy festive collectibles with a bit more presence. However, its small size and holiday-only appeal could disappoint those wanting a plush they can play with year-round or who prefer larger toys for cuddling. This pick makes the most sense for holiday decorators and collectors wanting a seasonal accent, not for everyday plush needs.
Pros:- Charming holiday-themed design with scarf and hat
- Super-soft plush texture perfect for cuddling
- Ideal size for collection or holiday display
Cons:- Limited to holiday season, reducing year-round use
- Small size may not appeal to all buyers
Best for: Holiday gift givers and collectors seeking a festive decorative plush.
Not ideal for: Children looking for a large, all-season cuddly toy or everyday plush.
- Size:8 inches
- Character:Cam
- Theme:Christmas/Holiday
- Material:Super-soft plush
Our verdict“A delightful seasonal plush best suited for holiday decor and collectors, but not for year-round cuddling.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little)
This exclusive 4-pack offers a colorful mix of holiday characters, including Maritza the Cactus and Tinsley the Peppermint Latte, making it a versatile gift option. Compared to the Micromallows Wreath or Advent Calendar, this set provides larger plushes with more detail and cuddliness, though the smaller size might be less satisfying for kids who prefer bigger toys. Each character comes with a unique bio, adding a collectible storytelling element that appeals to fans and kids alike. The pack’s main tradeoff is its Amazon exclusivity, which could limit availability, and some may find the plush size too small for active play. This set is ideal for gift-givers wanting a variety of holiday plush or collectors seeking a themed ensemble.
Pros:- Includes four distinct, themed characters with bios
- Soft, high-quality fabric for cuddling
- Great for holiday gifting and collection
Cons:- Limited availability due to Amazon exclusivity
- Small size may not satisfy those wanting larger plushes
Best for: Parents and gift shoppers seeking a variety pack of holiday plush for kids or collectors.
Not ideal for: Buyers looking for large plush toys for children to cuddle or play with extensively.
- Includes:4 Squishmallows plush toys
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality fabric
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
- Exclusive:Amazon Exclusive
Our verdict“A versatile holiday plush set perfect for gift-giving and collection, but less suited for active play or larger cuddly needs.”
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar features 24 tiny 2.5-inch Micromallows, making it a fun way to count down to Christmas with charm. Compared to the Micromallows Wreath or larger plush sets, it emphasizes variety and collection, though its tiny size limits tactile cuddling or active play. The compact size allows for easy display or gifting, and the inclusion of characters like Brooke the Polar Bear makes it appealing to fans who appreciate detailed collectibles. The main tradeoff is its seasonal nature; it offers little value outside the holidays and may not satisfy those wanting plush for hugging or larger display pieces. This makes it best suited for collectors and holiday enthusiasts who enjoy a daily surprise.
Pros:- Includes 24 different holiday-themed plush characters
- Compact, easy-to-display size for holiday decor
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to small plush toys, less suitable for active play
- Only relevant for holiday season use
Best for: Holiday collectors and fans of countdown traditions seeking small collectibles.
Not ideal for: Children desiring large, hug-friendly plush or toys intended for daily play beyond the holiday season.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Number of Items:24
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“An engaging advent calendar for collectors and holiday countdown fans, but less ideal for everyday cuddling or non-seasonal use.”
Squishmallows Micromallows Holiday Wreath 4-Pack
This 4-pack of Micromallows features miniature holiday characters like Gina the Gingerbread, ideal for decorating or gifting. Compared with the Advent Calendar, the wreath offers a set of four plushes that can be displayed as ornaments or small gifts, providing more flexibility in how they are used around the house. The tiny 2.5-inch size makes them less suitable for cuddling or active play, which might be a drawback for buyers seeking plush for children. The set’s main strength lies in its cuteness and collectibility, but its limited size and holiday focus mean it has a narrow use window. This pick makes the most sense for holiday decorating or as a small, thoughtful gift.
Pros:- Cute, miniature holiday characters
- Perfect for holiday decorations and gifts
- Includes popular characters like Gina and Omri
Cons:- Small size may not appeal to all children
- Limited to holiday characters and themes
Best for: Holiday decorators and gift givers who want small, cute plush ornaments or stocking stuffers.
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking larger plush for hugging or active play, or those wanting a year-round plush collection.
- Unit Count:4
- Size:2.5 inches
- Included Components:4 Micromallows plush toys
Our verdict“A charming set of tiny holiday plushes ideal for decorating or gifting, but not for cuddling or active play.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little)
This 4-pack features a diverse set of plush characters, including Ingred the Purple Cow and Luna the Penguin, with each plush carrying a unique bio that enhances their collectible appeal. Compared with the single Cam plush or Micromallows sets, this pack offers a bit more variety, making it suitable for gift-givers or collectors wanting multiple characters for holiday display or storytelling. The plushes are all ultrasoft and plush, providing comfort, though their small size limits active play. A key tradeoff is that the characters are exclusively holiday-themed, which narrows their appeal outside the season. This set is best suited for those wanting a small, themed collection or holiday gift set with variety.
Pros:- Includes four distinct holiday characters with bios
- Soft, plush material for comfort and display
- Good variety for holiday-themed collection or gifting
Cons:- Limited to holiday characters and themes
- Small size may not satisfy children wanting larger plush
Best for: Holiday gift buyers and collectors seeking a small, themed plush set with multiple characters.
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking larger plush toys for cuddling or year-round use beyond holiday themes.
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Theme:Holiday
Our verdict“A charming, varied holiday plush set perfect for themed gifting and collection, but less suited for active play or non-seasonal use.”
Squishmallows Original 12-Inch Joyce the Eggnog Fuzz-A-Mallows Plush Toy
This limited-edition Joyce the Eggnog Fuzz-A-Mallows stands out as the ideal holiday gift thanks to its soft, squishy plush material and collectible appeal. Compared to the smaller Micromallows bouquet, this 12-inch plush offers a more substantial cuddle factor, making it better suited for hugging and display. However, its limited availability due to being a holiday exclusive means it may sell out quickly, and detailed specs are sparse. This pick makes the most sense for collectors or those seeking a special seasonal toy with a festive touch, though it’s less practical for everyday play in busy households.
Pros:- Soft, squishy plush material perfect for cuddling
- Limited holiday edition makes it a unique collectible
- Ideal size for display or hugging
Cons:- Limited availability may make it hard to find
- Lack of detailed specifications could be a concern for collectors
Best for: Collectible lovers and gift buyers looking for a holiday-themed plush with display value
Not ideal for: Parents seeking durable, everyday plush toys for active children, due to its limited edition and collectible nature
- Size:12 inches
- Material:Soft plush
- Edition:Limited holiday
Our verdict“This plush makes a perfect holiday gift for collectors or fans wanting a festive display piece, but its limited edition status may limit accessibility.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday Micromallows Plush Bouquet
This holiday-themed Micromallows bouquet offers a charming trio of 2.5-inch characters—Laurel the Christmas Tree, Zumir the Peppermint Moose, and Brooke the Polar Bear—making it a delightful and versatile collectible. Compared with the larger Fleur the Yule Log, these tiny plush figures are easier to display in small spaces or to include as stocking stuffers. Their small size, however, limits their appeal for those wanting larger, more huggable plushes. The collection’s collectible nature also means additional purchases could be necessary for complete holiday displays, and the price is not specified, which might be a consideration for budget-conscious buyers.
Pros:- Cute, holiday-themed characters
- Detachable Micromallows for versatile display or play
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited size may not satisfy plush lovers seeking larger toys
- Additional purchases might be needed for a fuller collection
Best for: Fans of small, collectible plush toys and holiday decorators seeking festive accents
Not ideal for: Children or collectors who prefer larger plush toys for cuddling or display, as these are small and primarily decorative
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:3 Micromallows
- Characters:Laurel, Zumir, Brooke
- Material:Plush
Our verdict“This miniature plush bouquet is perfect for adding small festive touches or gifting, but may fall short for those seeking larger plush comfort or display options.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur The Yule Log Plush
Compared with the 12-inch Joyce plush, Fleur the Yule Log offers a more manageable 8-inch size, making it easier to display on shelves or beds. Its ultrasoft, high-quality fabric provides a cozy texture, perfect for cuddling or seasonal decor. The inclusion of a bio and unique character design enhances its collectible appeal, but some may find the 8-inch size too small for active play or larger hugs. This plush suits fans who want a distinctive holiday character without the space commitment of larger plushes, although it may not satisfy those seeking a more substantial or interactive toy.
Pros:- Soft, cuddly texture with high-quality fabric
- Unique character with a bio and festive theme
- Compact size for easy display
Cons:- Limited to 8-inch size, less ideal for cuddling compared to larger plushes
- May not appeal to those unfamiliar with Squishmallows or Yule Log theme
Best for: Holiday decor enthusiasts and collectors wanting a soft, unique character without taking up too much space
Not ideal for: Parents looking for larger, more durable plush toys for everyday use or active play, as this is primarily a collectible item
- Size:8 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality fabric
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Character:Fleur the Yule Log
Our verdict“Fleur the Yule Log is a charming, space-saving holiday plush perfect for collectors or seasonal decor, but less suited for active cuddling or play.”
Squishmallows 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar offers a festive way to count down to Christmas with 24 mini Squishmallows, each just 2.5 inches tall. Compared to the 4-inch mystery capsules, this set provides a daily surprise that’s ideal for building anticipation and collection. Its small size makes it easy to display or carry, though it limits the tactile experience for those wanting larger plushes. The inclusion of holiday characters like Benny the Bigfoot and Cam the Cat enhances its appeal, but the small figures may not satisfy those seeking plush toys suitable for active play or cuddling. Its appeal is mainly for collectors or families wanting a seasonal activity.
Pros:- Includes 24 holiday-themed miniature Squishmallows
- Great for collection, gifting, and holiday decor
- Compact size perfect for travel or display
Cons:- Limited to small plush figures, less tactile for cuddling
- Not suitable for very young children due to small parts
Best for: Families and collectors seeking an interactive holiday countdown with miniature plush collectibles
Not ideal for: Young children who might chew or swallow small parts, or adults seeking larger plush gifts for hugging
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Stuffed Toy
- Sub Brand:Micromallows
- Model Name:24-Day Micromallows Holiday Advent Calendar
- Unit Count:1
- Age Range:3 years and up
Our verdict“This advent calendar offers a festive, collectible experience for fans and families, though its small size isn’t ideal for cuddling or active play.”
Squishmallows Original 2024 Christmas 4-Inch Holiday Mystery Capsules
Compared with the larger Fleur plush, these mystery capsules deliver a fun surprise element with a 4-inch Squishmallow in a random holiday color. The size is convenient for gifting, stocking stuffers, or collecting, and the soft, squishy texture makes them appealing for both children and adults. However, the randomness of color may be a drawback if you prefer specific characters or hues, and only one plush is included per capsule, which could be limiting for those wanting multiple or larger plushes. This item is ideal for fans who enjoy the thrill of mystery and collecting seasonal designs, but less suited for those seeking more substantial plush toys or specific customization.
Pros:- Soft and squishy plush toy with festive design
- Great for gifting and surprise collection
- Official licensed product
Cons:- Random color selection may not suit preferences
- Limited to one plush per capsule, less for bulk gifting
Best for: Collectors and holiday gift buyers wanting a small, festive surprise plush
Not ideal for: Those who prefer predictable or larger plush toys, as the random color and size may not meet expectations
- Size:4 inches
- Theme:Christmas 2024
- Includes:One mystery plush capsule
Our verdict“This mystery capsule provides a fun, festive surprise for collectors and fans, though its randomness and size limit customization options.”

Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
Choosing the right squishmallows holiday items involves more than picking the cutest plush. Consider size, as smaller options are perfect for stocking stuffers, while larger plushes serve as cuddly holiday decorations. Think about whether you want a single standout piece or a set for variety and value. Seasonal relevance matters—look for designs that truly capture holiday spirit, but beware of overly niche or limited editions that might sell out quickly. Price can vary significantly, so set a budget that matches your gifting or collection goals. Lastly, consider the recipient’s preferences—whether they love cute characters, collectible sets, or themed advent calendars—to ensure your choice hits the mark.Size and Versatility
Size is a key factor—8-inch plushes tend to be the most versatile, fitting comfortably in hands or on shelves, making them ideal for both display and hugging. Smaller Micromallows are perfect for stocking stuffers or collectors seeking compact collectibles. Larger plushes are more of a statement piece, suitable as holiday decor or cuddly gifts. Think about how the recipient will use or display the plush to choose the appropriate size. Balancing size with design complexity can also impact price and availability.
Design and Holiday Relevance
Holiday-themed designs should evoke festive feelings, so look for plushes with classic motifs like Santa, reindeer, or winter animals. Some options, like advent calendars, add interactive fun and extend holiday cheer through daily surprises. Be cautious of overly niche designs that may feel outdated quickly or limited editions that could sell out early. Choosing designs that blend cuteness with seasonal charm ensures the plush remains a cherished decoration or gift long after the holiday season ends.
Set vs. Single Plush
Sets like the holiday 4-pack or Micromallows wreath offer great value and variety, especially if you’re buying for multiple recipients or want a themed collection. Single plushes tend to be more focused on character appeal or exclusivity, making them ideal for collectors or those looking for a standout gift. Consider your budget and gifting goals—sets often cost less per plush, but single plushes can be more special or unique. Be aware that sets may include less popular characters, so check for options that match the recipient’s preferences.
Price and Value
Prices for holiday squishmallows can range from budget-friendly to premium collectibles. Sets and advent calendars generally offer the best value per item, especially if you plan to gift multiple plushes or want a complete holiday display. Limited editions or larger plushes tend to cost more but can become keepsake items. Set your budget based on whether you’re shopping for a single gift or building a themed collection. Watch for sales or exclusive releases that can make higher-end plushes more accessible.
Availability and Exclusivity
Many holiday squishmallows are released as limited editions or exclusive to certain retailers, which can drive up demand and price. If you see a design you love, consider purchasing early to avoid missing out. Limited editions can add a special touch to your collection, but they may also be harder to find later. For those seeking variety or more affordable options, standard releases or sets are more reliably available. Keep an eye on official releases and pre-orders to secure your favorites before they sell out.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are squishmallows suitable as holiday gifts for all ages?
Squishmallows are generally safe and appealing for a wide age range, from young children to adults. Their soft texture and friendly designs make them a popular choice for kids, while collectors and older fans appreciate limited editions and character variety. However, for very young children, ensure the plush has no small parts that could pose a choking hazard. Gifting a holiday-themed squishmallow can add a cozy, festive touch to any recipient’s decor or collection.
Should I buy a single plush or a set for holiday gifting?
Deciding between a single plush or a set depends on your goals. Sets like the holiday 4-pack offer better value and variety, making them ideal for families or groups of friends. They also help create a festive scene or themed collection. Single plushes, on the other hand, tend to be more special and personalized, especially if you know the recipient’s favorite character or design. Consider your budget and the recipient’s preferences when choosing between these options.
Are limited edition squishmallows worth the extra cost?
Limited editions often carry a higher price tag but can serve as collector’s items or unique gifts that stand out. Their scarcity can add to their appeal, especially if they feature exclusive designs or packaging. However, they may also sell out quickly, and some designs might not fit everyone’s taste. If you value exclusivity and the potential for future value, investing in limited editions can be worthwhile, but for more practical gifting, standard releases offer more reliable availability.
How do I care for my holiday squishmallows?
Most squishmallows are safe for spot cleaning with mild soap and water, and some can be machine washed on gentle cycles. Be sure to check the care instructions on each plush. Proper maintenance keeps the plush looking fresh and extends its lifespan, especially for those used as decorative items or frequent cuddly companions. Avoid harsh detergents or high heat, which can damage the fabric or stuffing.
When is the best time to buy squishmallows for the holidays?
Early fall is the ideal time to start shopping for holiday squishmallows to ensure availability before demand peaks. Many seasonal releases are announced months in advance, with some selling out quickly around Black Friday or early December. Purchasing early also gives you time to find special editions or sets that may not be restocked. Last-minute shoppers might find fewer options, so planning ahead helps secure your favorites and avoid disappointment.
Conclusion
For those seeking the overall best holiday squishmallow, the Squishmallows Christmas Holiday Winter 8″ Cam Plush strikes a great balance of quality, design, and versatility. Budget-conscious buyers will appreciate the Original Holiday 4-Pack for its value and variety. Collectors or gift-givers wanting something exclusive may prefer limited editions like the 2024 Christmas Mystery Capsules. Beginners or casual fans should start with smaller, more affordable options, while serious collectors might look for limited releases or themed sets. Overall, your choice should align with your gifting goals, budget, and the recipient’s preferences for a truly festive season.
